Holy shite the double standard actually pains me. Arky fans love to throw out their record vs us and claim they "own" USC. WOW.
Oh and no one gives a shite about track.

You don't see the difference between "own" and "on another level"? If not, then tell that to the pollsters who always rank South Carolina higher then Arkansas, since you believe Arkansas is on a higher level.

No one gives a shite about anything when they're not competitive, but Arkansas, Florida and Texas A&M care about track. We're also one of the few schools that have brought a national title in basketball to the SEC, but I'm sure there's an excuse for that, too. In fact, Arkansas and LSU lead the SEC in national titles, but who cares, right?

The irony here is that y'all are 13-8 against us while LSU is 13-8 against y'all in SEC play. LSU doesn't own Arky and Arky doesn't own USC.

We're pretty competitive in women's basketball and equestrian but I don't give a shite about it. We suck at men's Bball and I do give a shite. I mean get real, smack talk about anything other than football, baseball, and men's basketball will get you nowhere.
LSU is on another level than Arky (and USC) because they have 3 football national championships and 6 baseball national championships, not to mention SEC championships. But Arky is not on another level than USC. In sports that matter Arky has one NC while USC has 2.

I agree with this, but then you go on to say that LSU is on a different level? Spin it all you want, but Arkansas and LSU have won the same number of national titles.

Arkansas has a national title in football and basketball, so I don't know why you only gave us one. I also think other sports do matter, whether most message board posters agree or not.

If you want to consider LSU on a different level, then have at it, but I don't see it that way. 10 years ago, they had the same number of national titles in football as Arkansas and have since had the best decade in their history. Mind you that I'm criticizing LSU, but defending Arkansas.

2 Nat'l Titles in the last 4 years in baseball, guess that's already forgotten about.

I thought we were just going from '92.

Well that's all fine and dandy but you're one of the few who thinks this. Secondary sports are just that, secondary. If track or water polo was as popular as football then they would be played in 80,000 capacity stadiums, but they aren't.

So how can you not say they are on another level?

This is the SEC and we are all in this together. Spreading discontent makes us more like the Big 12 and look what that got them.

Track isn't exactly water polo or equestrian, now is it? Most Americans are familiar with Jesse Owens, Carl Lewis and Usain Bolt, but can you name a single famous water polo player?

I also don't consider baseball on the same level as football and basketball, even though I love baseball. No one else did, either, until recently, it seems.

I've been watching college football for 36 years and LSU has had a better team for about half of that time. The ebb and flow currently favors LSU, but it won't stay that way forever.

Alabama IS on a different level, however.

Charter members of the SEC get to stay even if they suck...unless they leave on their own.
