Honestly I think we should drop Florida. They're pretty much irrelevant now anyways. If we did that we could pick up Florida State and then add Miami in a few years when expansion hits and no worries what Florida thinks about schools from there own state.

You'd drop a team from a state with multiple SEC teams and you most certainly wouldn't add another school that is in the existing footprint.
That would most likely mean dropping Vandy, but I would treat them like Notre Dame. I would let them keep all of their sports, but football in the SEC. The East could also choose to keep playing them with one of their non-conference games.

If you really look at all the teams, the one that doesn't fit is clearly Vanderbilt. It's an academic institution in a league with all public state universities.
