Oklahoma beating you last year had nothing to do with lack of effort. They were a better team and better prepared than you.
Sort of like the Ole Miss (especially since 2008), Clemson and Penn State games, right?
And LSU almost lost to Bert last season. C'mon, now!

"Because clearly AU has never lost a bowl game or given less than 100% effort"
--------------
Its not about the loss or the effort, its about the coach's excuse on ESPN. Man up

sounds like you are confusing that game with 21-0...
but maybe that is just me.

Oh, so it's time to move the goalpost I see.
Well allow me to retort...
Because clearly no AU coach has ever said that they lost a game as a result of poor execution and preparation.
Is this your first year watching football, miss?

You do realize that one of those happened 5 years ago, right?

Dang, how many "almost losses" does your team have? Probably a lot more than LSU.

You just did it one post up. Turnabout is fair play.
Bama fans have perfected this deflection thing the last few days.

Could that be because of lack of effort leading up to the game?

greatest coach in CFB offering excuses? excuse me, but I just don't think the legends of the game (Bear, Neyland, Shug, Vaught) would do that. But you keep falling in line with Lil Debbie's excuses for how he cant motivate his 5 star players

Bammer fans got all tender about the anus when the OP didn't even mention them! hmmmmmmmm?

They were the better team that night, but not overall. Do you think they would have gone 11-1 or better in the SEC? Remember, that their QB had the game of his life versus Alabama. Oklahoma got blown out by Baylor and a pathetic Texas.
Oklahoma was better prepared, but that's not the reason they won. They scored 28 points off of Alabama's turnovers. Alabama's defensive adjustments were slow and the offensive playcalling was poor.

Dumbass, the team you cheer for just lost the BCS title game to break a 7 year winning streak for the SEC. STFU!!!
