If you don't like Ole Miss, it's because you were trained not to like it. I love Ole Miss because it's an aesthetically pleasing place and the arts and music scene is in line with my tastes. I don't use the 'beautiful women' argument because, even though it's true, there are beautiful women on every campus.

I like Oxford and I think it's a cool town. However, I think it's really overrated. And that includes the Grove. I think it's something every SEC fan should experience once or twice, but I'm glad it's not my every weekend tailgating/bar experience. It's just not for me.

And that's okay. Some folks would never leave Baton Rouge if you paid them. I, personally, would be utterly miserable there. I went to MSU first and I find myself wanting to go back to Starkville now and then.

It's weird. Lexington is a very stuck up town. Much more so than Oxford and with the pedigree to prove it. But it really doesn't transfer over to UK athletics for some reason. I guess because there's more rednecks and hillbillies than other people. I'm glad, though. It's a good mix IMO.

Because of NetZero, I am able to post. But I had to sign up for a month of blockbuster. Tough being poor.

I've been to Lexington twice. Bar scene was ok. Nice town. last time I went most weren't into partying since LSU had just clinched the SEC title on UK's floor

I don't know when you went, but the bars close at 2:30 now. As recently as 7 or so years ago they closed at midnight. The bar scene is pretty decent. I guess it depends where you come from. We had guys from Auburn that were in awe of the "sky scrapers" (yes, serious).
