When he is baited about who is best running back in SEC he says Chubb. When ask about his rushing performance he talks about his Oline and LSU. When ask if he knew how close he was to breaking the All time LSU record he says he was told that but wanted the younger running backs to get valuable real game experience.
What a difference a year makes, no more Heisman poses or money signs. Somewhere in the woods, Bo Jackson, is scouting a deer path or making an arrow and nodding "The kid finally gets it."
Nice to see this from a freak of nature. Hope he keeps this attitude and stays healthy.

I love the fact Fournette initiates contact... "I just blew passed your LBs and will finish off this run by putting the hammer on the safety." Dude's absolutely punishing

I like Buga a lot. Good player and seems to be good kid. He seems like he has a very good head on his shoulders.

No more Heisman poses. Reuben Foster seems to have knocked some sense into him.
I keed.

Yeah the whole Buga thing is like the Honey Badger deal wasnt started by him but by excited fans and whatever he did this offseason it is like he has matured by ten years. If he stays for two years and keeps this attitude he will join Bo Jackson as one of my favorite SEC players of all time. (You have to respect and like Bo Jackson even if you are a Bama fan)

It would be awesome if Jim Brown was at the Syracuse game and did a meet and greet with Fournette.

Jim Brown is a bitter old frick who would probably say Fournette is overrated.

We joke and talk shite here because we can. But, there are players that really transcend their program and are just a pleasure to watch. Bo Jackson is one. I was a wee little lad when he played so I do not remember him at AU. But, looking at the film and the man he is now, much much respect.
Cam Newton was another one to a much lesser degree. Yes, we hoped and hoped he would have been found ineligible. But only because we knew he would wreck shop on our teams. His play was awesome to watch though.
LF can be at that level in a year or two. He has the God given talents. He needs to keep his head on right and seems to be doing that. Yes, I am sure he will get yards on my team and I want him to lose that game. But, not out of hate. I just want my team to win. But, this kid can be very special.
I never liked the Honey Badger at LSU. It had to do with what I saw as him wasting a fantastic, once in a lifetime chance to play at a school like LSU and in the SEC. He did waste it. But, he turned his life around. I had a lot of respect for him when he refused to play at another school. He did the right thing. He refocused and now the guy is making bank and playing well at the highest level. I do respect that.

There is nothing not to like about LF.

To add to my OP.
LSU head coach Les Miles was on SiriusXM College Sports Nation Wednesday morning and told the story about how Leonard Fournette gave his Auburn MVP award to another player on the team.
Instead of holding on to the honor, Fournette passed it on to fullback John David Moore, who recently earned a scholarship from LSU in fall camp. Per 247Sports.com:

After Fournette rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns on just 19 touches, Miles said he was awarded the team's MVP after the game. But Fournette deferred the honor, once again, this time giving it to fullback John David Moore.
Moore, who is in his first year as LSU's starting fullback, recently earned a scholarship after working his way up the roster as a walk-on.
Very cool. Fournette will get plenty of other awards but this walk on kid probably will not. He threw some great blocks. I bet he really looks forward to being able to block for him now. This reminds me of when Dan Marino would buy all his Olineman Rolexes every year. Smart and classy move.

Hate LSU, love Fournette. Wish this kid (40 yr old looking man) nothing but success.
Wish he was a reb but someday hope he's a Saint.

He is a Dude with that ball in his hands. I liked that Auburn corner coming up and just let him run by. I bet Muschamp eat him for breakfast. Yes Sir, you boys have you a Hoss!

Saints look bad enough to get the #1 pick in the coming years so you may be right.
