Why MU over A&M? At least there are less MU fans and they are less gay.

Say what you will about TAMU but they at least want to be here. I'm not sure the same is true for Mizzou. We certainly weren't the conference they were seeking out.

Sewanee is so prestigious they (and their donors) couldn't afford to rebuild?

WTF?

You had no more choice in the matter than any of us did.

However, it's pretty well known that we weren't the conference you were looking to join but did out of opportunity and timing. TAMU, otoh, was looking to join.

I can.

We're talking about southern stereotypes who actually fit the stereotype.

I mean, their most prestigious university couldn't afford to rebuild after a fire. Know what I mean?

Well, yeah.

The first time we literally burnt it down.

Then there were the other two times.

So yeah, several visits.

Stop taking credit for other people's work. East, Tennesseans as well as folks from N. Alabama and N. Georgia were the ones who escorted Sherman through the South. Basically the same groups that had been a part of bridge burning conspiracies, guerilla warfare, and open war against occupying rebel forces. It certainly wasn't you.

I didn't realize this happened since you joined the SEC. I guess I need to get away from Chicago more.

All Mizzou has is mediocrity on every level. Mediocrity to the point of having a two quarterback system.

I have heard of nothing good sports or education wise come out of that school.

The only good thing that came out of there was my high school greek teacher who was super cool.

and poo swastikas, don't forget those...

Y'all (Mizzou) suggesting anyone fit into a particular stereotype is pretty funny.

In fairness, they used to have one of the premiere broadcast journalism schools. The main reason was that Missouri's most vanilla dialect/accent was decided on as the standard bland newscaster voice that offended no one and the entire country heard it as pretty neutral. People went there as much to learn how to speak in newscaster voice as anything else although the rest of the J-school was really good too. It's not quite on the same level as it used to be but years ago it was where you'd want to go if you wanted a good job in broadcast news and in the news business more broadly.

Uh huh. And I'm laughing because y'all keep on keepin' on. You've got a serious obsession and it's quite funny to watch. An entire group has gone TT9 level predictable and obsessive this week.
