Would tRant be critical of him just because he was going to LSU? Seems everyone is critical of all our coaching moves no matter what we do.

If LSU got Kiffen and things ended like they did were he was told to go before the NC game, LSU fans would honestly think it was some grand scheme came up by Coach O to frick with Bama.
You would all think Coach O was some coaching genius and got one over on Saban.

L6U hired Ed Oeauxtisgron as the head coach, not as a coordinator, position Coach or water boy but the Head Coach.
Don't pretend you would not be giving other teams fans shite if they hired him as their head coach.
For comparison, if L6U would have beaten AU, they fired Gus, promoted Kevin Steele as IHC then missed on their top 2 after months of running their mouth about how great of a job AU is, coaches were begging to coach there, and then whiffed and hired Steele permantely.

Most of the Rant types would have been happy just thinking that they took something from Bama and probably wouldn't even have considered whether he was the right guy for the job.
