If two SEC teams make the playoffs...

...will they make them play each other in first round to prevent an all SEC Natty?

Will not happen, the whole point of the new system was to prevent the SEC from getting 2 in.

Yep, when you let a committee vote and not have it based off of on the field performance or anything related to football, you get a fricked up playoff.

I don't think it will ever happen under this new system. There is going to be a strong bias toward conference champs with reasonably strong records. All things equal, the Big 12 champ will be the odd man out since they don't have a conference championship game. But if ND and 2 of the conference champions have 2 or more losses, it's possible.
