I think suitcase Mike is an okay coach and pretty good recruiter when he want's to be. He will eventually get them in the dance (still maybe this year) and can make some decent runs, if he can stick around. A NC he will not win them though.

We've been asleep for 20 years and are still traditionally elite relative to almost every other program in the SEC.

Think about it, Missouri is probably the 6th best program and they haven't even been to a final four. I'm sure most teams see Arkansas as a game that could give meaning to their otherwise useless seasons.

lol ... i was a hs student/undergrad during the late 80s/early 90s when beating arkansas was truly a barometer for the team ...

there is not a single person in the country that thinks a win against arkansas means anything ...

You guys must have been ultra-elite to still be considered elite after not making the Sweet Sixteen in 20 years.

They havent been relevant in the sec since 1994. They have 1 SEC tourney title and they finished with the 7th best sec record that year. Their basketball program is shite

You really used elite and Arkansas in the same sentence.

Technically, so did you.

Duke got blown out at home as well. It happens sometimes when you're an elite basketball program and everyone has a bullseye on you.

Mike is a damn good coach had everything he needed at Mizzou. He was on an upswing in recruiting and player development and must have fell and hit his head or something getting brain damage then decided to go to Arky for some reason. It's like turning around and going back down the hill when you were only two steps away from the top. Brain damage, that has to be what caused it. It sure wasn't the lure of an Arkansas BB program that was in shambles.

Will he get to the tournament this year? I'm not sure. His teams have shown in the last few years to implode down the stretch.

Then again, this isn't a serious thread anyways. Just another feeble troll attempt.

That's rich coming from a team that hasn't made the Sweet Sixteen in over 20 years. Of course you'll understand as we laugh at your expense.

I retract my previous statement. It's been 19 years. 1996 was their last sweet sixteen appearance

From a fan of a program that has plateaued with no tourny appearances since someones arrival. I don't think you guys can even see a ceiling let alone come close to breaking through it. Looks like the usual seasonal implosion for Arky started this weekend though.

Sultan, keep dreaming. Keep trying to convince yourself that it's getting better but yet never reach that tourny. Watch your season implode every year. It's already starting. Suitcase won't get the players needed to go to the next level, , a tourny appearance. Nope, ole suitcase didn't think through things to well before leaving Mizzou. Again, must have fell and hit his head.

Wow. 4* WR T.J. Hill is decommiting from Arky? Now your FB program is starting to tank? Is this a start of a mass exodus? Must be hell to be an Arky fan right now. Whats going on down there?
