If the SECR's finest were on the LSU Board of Directors, what would you do?

I fricking love Les Miles. The guy has been leading LSU for nearly half my life, and it has been an incredible ride. Whatever happens, he'll always be welcomed back to LSU and thanked for what he did accomplish. I get sad just thinking about how different things will be without him. He deserves a better ending than this, and it kills me he's not going to get it.
However, the fact is that LSU gave him the biggest staffing budget in the country, and what did he do? He hired 3 colossal morons that not so coincidentally are his friends in Cameron, steele, and Bradley 30 yard punt frickstick Peveto to manage all 3 major phases of the game. It was the perfect storm for tdecline.
Even if LSU didn't fire him this season, Chavis basically gave it away that Les was retiring very soon judging by his contract demands "just in case Les retired within 3 years".
Would LSU be better off firing the three morons and attempt to convince 3 big time assistants to come here for one season? at least admit tdecline is real

If I were on the Board I would fire Les and hire little Dooley.

I'd make a thread asking who the most realistic options for LSU's next HC are. Then I'd make a thread asking if LSU could afford Les' buyout. Then I'd make a thread asking why LSU should even fire Les. Then I'd make a thread proclaiming Les the greatest LSU HC ever. Then I'd make a thread talking shite to Tennessee.

Exactly my point. The fact you're all boo hooing like North Koreans after Kim Jong Il died over Les leaving tells us plenty.
The vast majority of our fans were cheering for him and wanted this to work, but it's time

Fire Steele, Cameron and special teams coach
Promote Orgeron to DC. Focus on DL and LB.
Bring in a new offensive coordinator that can help a QB.
Tell Les if he doesn't contend for the SEC in 2016 he is gone as soon as it is out of reach
Begin saving money. Throw $7 mil at Gruden if it doesn't workout

I doubt any of us care what L5U decides. I personally couldn't care either way.
I just answered in the way that would cause the most rustle.

Orgeron basically is a co-DC, and I think that's the only reason got a guy with his resume to be the DL coach. He's heavily involved in our game plans that aren't working.

You're missing the point. Chavis basically wanted financial security "just in case Les Miles retired soon". in other words, Les isn't going to be around much longer either way.

I'm cool with this if LSU doesn't have someone in play, and even most fans that hate him would agree with that anyways. We're assuming LSU isn't just blindly letting him go. This has probably be in the works longer than people think.

I hated how the Advocate article was handled too. It pretty much started all of this.

There were probably 50 threads started by Bama fans today about the LSU coaching saga.
