If foxsports were ran like a business they would fire Travis and AL.com would fight desperate for him.

There is no logic behind his argument. You don't sell off one of your top assets to your top competition to grow as a business.

First time ever I agree with Rabern57.

There IS some logic, but it is all based on the single issue of television revenue (which he is eaten up with). We all know there's more to it than that.

Its worse than that. It is all based on a television revenue model that is quickly being undone by cord cutting.

Eh, it's not moving as quickly in that direction as one may think.

There is no true ala carte service going right now.

My god, he's such a dumb arse. It's amazing there are people out there who read him.

Sure, but there are many indications its moving that way. Netflix is 1/3rd of primetime internet traffic. Pay TV is dealing with negative growth:

And it is getting to ESPN, who didn't put for a competitive bid for B1G content because of a shrinking subscriber base.

The SEC Contract isn't up for over a decade. By then cord cutting will be a real thing.

The problem for a program like MSU is al a carte is probably worse for them because it needs quality content more than it needs inventory.

It's an issue. I just don't think it's as dire as most think, and if it becomes that way then cable companies will switch gears. They won't just die.

They already are. Why do you think Comcast is viewed as more of an Internet company than cable company now?

Clay Travis thinks black people are afraid to live in Mississippi. Guy is dumber than a rhinoceros.

Wait one... I need to run next door and tell the neighbors I'm scary. Be right back.
