It's gonna be either NC State or UNC from NC and either UVA or VA Tech from Virginia. The question is, who is more preferable from each state?

It's UNC in North Carolina, But NC State isn't bad either.

It's Clearly its Virginia in Virginia, but to me Tech is a Clear 2nd option.

My longshot prediction is

OU, OK state to the sec
ND football, Texas to the ACC

SEC/ACC will meet in the sugar bowl

Big 12 leftovers

Would be a worse addition than Mizzou. At least their fans don't switch teams depending on the sport. It's amazing how many of the "huge" VA Tech fans become Duke or UNC fans come basketball season.
I know people joke about how Bama fans think football is the only sport on here. Y'all ain't seen nothing yet, if VA Tech joins.
I hate ODU, but they would be just as good of an addition. Hell they might of been able to beat VA Tech last year in football.

What about Cinncinatti and ECU to the east, MIZZ west. Or

ECU, Scar, UK, UT
UF , UGA, VANDY, Cinn
AU, UA, OM, MS
LSU, TAMU, ARKY,MIZZ

I know everyone wants big names , but with the GOR , not sure that will happen, has anyone thought that the GOR gives protection for FSU, CLEM, UNC, etc from pressure of thier fanbases to move to the SEC?

What about ACC schools being off the table don't people understand?

Entice Texas to come (they might be willing since the LHN is an obvious failure) by dropping A&M while also adding OU. You would have to accept some redundancy by taking Okie Lite, whose tethered to OU.

What about.......ECU

throw SEC money into East Carolina and Appalachian and both schools would surpass the other NC schools in football.

ECU has the largest football following in the old north state. Appalachian is transitioning to FBS starting this season in the Sun Belt.

Ken Haines and Swofford would shite their pants if Slive chose to cultivate and grow both ECU/App State, casting a shadow from the Smokies to the Pamlico Sound.

Strayer University - East
University of Phoenix - West

would give the SEC a foothold in all 50 states.

Visit their boards and, if you support bringing TU and OU into the conference, you'll quickly change your mind. No fricking way.

All ACC schools are off the table.

Essentially, there are only leftovers out there now. We should settle into our new alignment and wait for the Big X to make a move. The SEC and Big X are of equal numbers so I don't expect them to attempt another raid on the ACC.

Enjoy the calm realignment waters.

I would like to see it divided based on division....SEC West should get to pick a team, and SEC East should get to pick a team

Slive has said he wants to expand to the East. Two teams from there and Mizzou to the West. The ACC grant of rights probably put an end to this most likely though.

North Carolina. New state, new markets.

Then either Virginia or Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech for football, obviously, but Virginia would be a more prestigiuos pick overall.

Most of the other selections having us picking up schools in states where we already have a presence (Florida and Texas).
