I will be rooting for Ole Miss, Auburn, A&M, North Carolina, Mizzou, LSU, and USC.

I could give two shits about the SEC as long as LSU beats Wisconsin I'm good.

6-1
Only loss is to Clemson. I think Missouri skull drags WV and the same with the Ags.

WVU vs Mizoo. The mediocre programs game! Who cares about that game?
Posted on 8/16/16 at 8:10 pm to IAmReality
I want Ole Miss to beat FSU. Or rather for FSU to lose to Ole Miss. Don't care about Ole Miss winning, do care about FSU losing.
The other games I hardly care at all about.

Lol do people here really care about that? frick the SEC. I'm pro-VOLS and only pro-VOLS. I hope every team here loses their week one game

"the media" is probably the most over stated generalization in use today. do you realize how many outlets make up "the media". not even counting social media, which is so vast you couldn't possibly validate a conclusion, there are newspapers, many tv stations, radio stations, individual programs, the web, blogs, message boards, etc, etc, etc.
so, just take your pick of these and form any conclusion you want. it's done all the time.

I personally don't care what the media says. It's just rather disgusting how dishonest their narrative can be.
They tell the story they want to tell, not what the truth is.

FSU and Clemson are going to win for sure. UNC and Wisconsin have a better than even chance of getting a win. I also think Appy State is gonna put a scare into the pending East Division champs.

The SEC gets love because 4 SEC teams won the MNC 8 times in the last 10 years.

There's a good chance Deandre Francois would've won the quarterback competition anyways.

I hope all but Mizzou win.

Most certainly for the SEC, a great showing by all of these teams would be ideal.
And don't overlook UT v. VaTech week 2.
If the SEC gets off to a bad start, the league could be on the outside looking in at the playoffs come December, unless one team just dominates the whole year.
The SEC may not get the benefit of the doubt if, for example, Clemson has one loss and so does LSU. The ACC talking heads could point back to the opening week and mention SEC ACC head to head records.

aggy will win.
Better in BOTH trenches, secondary, and WR.
Rosen is a very good QB but his o-line is subpar at best. I think he gets sacked at least 5 times, with potential for more. Their RB SoSo is a plus back with good speed but is below average blocker and route runner. I think their offense sputters early and often.
I think this game means little for aggy in the grand scheme of things, mostly because they don't resemble any test we will face in SEC play talent wise (ASU last year), but 95% sure UCLA loses by 10+.

I'm going to guess it's the team that's like 50-0 in it's non-conference regular season games? That's 50-3 including bowl games.

FSU vs. Ole Miss. FSU is loaded and Ole Miss is replacing a lot. Kelly is the best QB in the SEC and Ole Miss has been recruiting well, so they have a chance.
Clemson vs. Auburn Upset pick.
UCLA vs. A&M. Will Chavis continue to improve that soft defense? I don't believe in Knight at the moment. Either way wouldn't surprise me, though.
North Carolina vs. Georgia. Might be close but North Carolina won't be able to stop Georgia's run game.
West Virginia vs. Missouri. Missouri will have a great defense again, but unfortunately points are needed to win a game.
Wisconsin vs. LSU. It probably won't be close
USC vs. Alabama. USC has a ton of talent, but Alabama has more. A first year head coach playing Saban and crew as his first game ever
