Thoughts? Don't get too excited. 3 in a row against Georgia does NOT mean you're good. It just means you played Georgia. Go Vols - 5 more years for Lyle!

ETA: What 4 georgia fans downvoted me??? You know what I said is true, don't beat up the messenger.

So, it's a thing to have won 2 in a row, now?

It'd make my prediction way off, but PLEASE let it be that Tennessee loses to Georgia and Alabama but wins the rest of their games, including the bowl.

My guess is Lyle is NOT fired if this happens and the Tennessee group here disintegrates in melt.

What a conundrum. UGA should lose to ensure Butch stays forever.

C'mon dogs. It's just 1 game.

Tried that with Muschamp at Florida. Not going to fool us again!

2 in a row *is* a thing... 1 in a row is not. :notsureif:

I could live with that.

Two in a row happens, but in terms of college football it is not a "thing". Not something to get all giggly about.

It's really a shame UT fans have turned on the players who chose to play for their program. I thought Missouri fans were the biggest bandwagon fans on here, but I think it's UT now. Sad.

I would argue that it's time for Bama to bite the bullet and take one for the collective team here... A third consecutive win over UGA likely does nothing for Lyle if they still lose to South Carolina or Vandy, BUT... a win over Bama... that's the kind of thing that gets him a raise and an extension independent of how the rest of the season goes... I think we've been analyzing this all wrong... What say the Vols?

On a scale of:

Where would you be in that scenario?

I want UT to win because it helps us get to Atlanta, but if the records were reversed I'd be hoping for a UT victory. I'm not confident that UT's next hire wouldn't be even worse than Lyle. It's SO EASY to do worse than average. The way I see it, 50% chance they get worse, 50% chance they get better.

On the low end of the curve sit the likes of Dooley, Muschamp, Shellenwhatever, and Ray fricking Goff and the high end is Urban Meyer, the Bear, and the rest of the collective football genius that comprises this group of arrogant sons of bitches and corpses. Saban's not on the curve because he's literally impossible and should not exist according to our natural laws. If we tried to put Saban on a bell curve a singularity would form where we put the dot and the universe would die a very slow, but definite death from the resulting black hole.

So as my concise and to the point statements of fact demonstrate, I'd be fine if Lyle went. 50% odds they get worse aren't bad, and the guys doing the hiring are tarded. And best of all, zero chance of pencil dot black holes eating the universe.

The issue is real - don't be a Saban Hole denier while we can still change. This is our future...a black hole with everything in it and low res Nick Saban laughing in the center. Unknown if low-res due to black hole effects or due to the following procedure: You couldn't see him in real life but for demonstration purposes I enhanced his image and this was the best fidelity I could get. Pretty good for zero light, yea? This was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1997, seeming to depict another supermassive black hole identical to the one we predict here. Where a galaxy was a billion years ago, remains only low res cropped Nick Saban.

Do something. Stop Universal Sabaning. It's not too late and together we can build a future our children can enjoy. Universal Sabaning may have already begun elsewhere as this image proves, but the distance (483729587239857 light years) from us makes this less dangerous than a sentinel Sabaning event on earth for the next 158 million years. So tell your kids and don't forget to mention that if Lyle gets fired from UT then we're probably gonna be okay, and NOT TO EVER EVER EVER depict in point form the chances of Nick Saban appearing on ANY list. Potential hires, current coaches, people, ANYTHING. "Nick Saban" is a force of nature that destroys and can do nothing else. But we have the power to keep him from being born. Another Saban is already coming for us, and he's watching us just like we're watching him slowly march towards us.

Do your part. Keep another Nick Saban from being born.

Here's your stupid picture about this stupid story my brain farted out onto the rant just now. Feel free to rescind the upvote if you read this and wonder if I'm on bath salts. While I'm not, I'm not angry and will not be if you change green to red. But seriously guys we can't have another Nick Saban come into existence, can we? That would be a catastrophisaster.

It's almost like the story I just shat out of my finger holes is an allegory I planned when I started. I'M A GENIUS.
