Also to the OP if you gave us OU's schedule (middle of the pack Big 12 team so I think that's fair) we would be undefeated right now IMO. Probably finish with two losses (Baylor and split OSU/TCU)

They don't have a "better defense than most". They have a couple of edge rushers that are good and they haven't faced a good QB all season long.

Lol aTm would lose to TN, and Texas, then lose to Baylor and OSU. So no aTm would be a 4 loss team in the big 12. You have a mediocre defense and terrible offense that Isnt gonna win you games against the top of the big 12. Comparatively OU has a top 10 offense with a top 5 QB and a top 30 defense and could be looking at 2 losses in the big 12.

Meanwhile I can tell you what that talent we sign will NOT be doing- they are not helping OU win another title aka what top tier Texas talent used to do before our SEC move.
You chirping about us wasting top Texas talent is like a poor person squawking that the rich person who stole their welfare check is stupid because he burned it before it could be spent. The rich person doesn't really need that money, they have more.
There will always be some future group of talented Texas kids who who want to play in the SEC. It is your program that is on the clock and must NAIL the post-Stoops hire to not end up in Nebraskaland.
