They need to:

-Literally abandon the run from their RB. Just don't do it, and throw as many times as you can.
-Throw only short routes, and throw it under 3 seconds every play, and throw in the occasional long bomb to keep safeties back.
-When a longer play is needed, at the first sign of trouble, Dak runs around the pressure in the pocket and scrambles.

So yeah, that's what they should do if they want to have a chance in this game. Will they? Nope. They'll still try and run it, and waste plays doing it.

On defense:
-Sell out to stop the run. Make Coker beat Dak in the passing game. I mean seriously sell out. Put 9 in the box. Coker is still likely going to pass for a few TDs in this scenario, but if Dak is doing well, MSU has a chance to outscore.

Anyways, that's what they should do. Will they? Absolutely not. Henry is going to run for 200+, and MSU will try to run about 15-18 times for 50 yards. Dak only throws 30 passes and can't get enough going to score more than 21, but likely gets picked at least once.

Dak is their leading rusher by over 200 yards.

I don't think MSU cares what you think they should do.

They can run it with their scat back. I don't think Alabama has anyone outside of the secondary that can catch that guy.

I can't remember the last time a back ran for 200 on us. Ricky Williams in the Cotton Bowl may be the last time it happened. And we've had some real bad teams since then.

I don't think you understand that we probably have the best front 7 you will see this year. Like they are really damn good.

I just don't believe that. It may end up being true, but Mizzou rushed for 200. So did TAMU, so did LSU, so did Auburn. It isn't unreasonable to think Alabama does the same. The reason that I think Henry has near 200 is because Alabama leans on him so much, especially in the last few games.
