underachieving. But your team will get rings. 11 wins!

From preseason outlook under
From how you've looked the first month and a half, over.

Neither. 11 wins is a very fine season for anyone.

I don't know much about SC, but looking at their Depth Chart... how is a team that starts 17 Jr/Sr players young?
We have a grand total of 4 scholarship seniors- fewest in America, we don't have a single linebacker classified higher than a sophomore (Spur is technically a db) and most of the juniors that are starting are first year starters

I thought USC had an outside chance at winning the BCS title this year but honestly there are only 3-4 teams in the country that would have a legit reason at being upset with a 11-2 season.

If USCe finishes 11-2 after their first part of this season then that'd be a great accomplishment.

I think once you get over the "not this time" downer, anyone would look back and say 11-2 was a damn good year.

Pre-season expectations: Underachieving, assuming we don't get to Atl.
Now: Overachieving. I knew we had lost some starters and some seniority to the NFL but I didn't think it would cripple our defense this bad.
But like you mentioned, we are literally the youngest team in the nation so hopefully it'll mean we can keep up the 10+ win seasons for a while.

11-2 is a really good season.
Takes a little luck here and there to win even a division much less a conference championship, or a so-called "national championship"(which is really just a game between 2 teams picked by politicians to go there).

I completely understand your motivation.

I see some SCAR fans haven't been brought back to reality yet.

You barely beat UK, Vanderbilt, and UCF. What sane person thinks SCAR is only going to lose one more game this year at this point?

Do you understand what a hypothetical is?

Would it be over achieving or under achieving in your opinion?
Overachieving -- relative to where the program was prior to joining the SEC.
From 1930 to 1992, Carolina was 304-307-29.
Pretty much neck and neck with Oklahoma State.
Both schools have improved quite a bit lately. The Pokes have had slightly more success but play in a lesser conference.
Considering where both schools came from, 11 wins is huge. 8 or 9 wins is good enough.

Any season we lose to Clemson is a bad season
Going 10-2 with losses to your two biggest rivals would suck, even if those rivals are highly ranked.
It'd be like Florida losing to Florida State and Georgia this year.
