You'd have to admit Bell......he'd be a tough act to follow at Bama.

I mean, who would want that responsibility??

No one thought anyone would want to coach a crappy team with a fanbase that had unrealistic expectations, but then he came along. Even if we have shitty years, we always think someone will love us again.

Serious question, if Saban did leave what would Bama do? Promote Kirby? Go after Gruden?

I wouldn't be butthurt, but I would be a little sad knowing he would have won more championships if he had stayed. I would be happy that he had repaired Alabama's program to the extent that we are the top program and left enough to keep Bama on top for years to come.

On the otherhand, if Saban left Alabama, the joy in Whoville would crash this website and probably many more.

If he left (big if), it would be after Jan 8th. It would be Kirby's job before Jan 10th.

Joy from all non-Bamers, I'd think.

No he's not. He's been groomed for a big job for the past 3 years. He's been slowly given more responsibility and he would do fine.

No he wont. He may have done so when leaving LSU, but he wouldn't do so now.

So you've either been joking all along, or you are incredibly unaware of anything of which you speak.
