Its history but shouldn't be praised. People lost lives on both sides and should be remembered, but no need for special attention from state leaders or political figures. If you still want to honor and support the confederacy than you are a dumbass.

Interesting fact - Arkansas has a total of 53 confederate monuments/memorials spread across their state. The next closest state is Georgia with a total of 33. Surprisingly, both Alabama and Mississippi only have 9.
