The NCAA will stop just short of the death penalty.

Lyin Bjerk and Rev. Freeze will be given one way tickets out of town. That's just the way this always works.

I would like to see where Freeze had been directly accused of recruiting improperly himself.

He doesn't have to do it himself, he is responsible for his staff and any violation of the staff is on his head.

"NCAA Division I Bylaw 11.1.1.1 states that an institution's head coach is
presumed to be
responsible
for the actions of all assistant coaches a
nd administrators who report, directly or
indirectly, to the head coach

. A head coach shall promote an at
mosphere of compliance within his
or her program and shall monitor
the activities of
all assistant coaches and administrators involved
with the program who report, direct
ly or indirectly, to the coach."

Pursuant to Bylaw 11.1.1.1, a head coach is presumed
responsible for major/Level I and Level II
violations (e.g., academic fraud, recruiting induceme
nts) occurring within his or her program unless
the coach can show that he or she promoted an
atmosphere of compliance and monitored his or her
staff.

Pearl got a Show Cause for lying to the NCAA.

If Freeze did the same, he will certainly get the same penalty.

But please point to a lie he has told.

Point to a lie? There are so many.

How about there wasn't nothing wrong with the recruitment of Tunsil and if you had proof otherwise to send it for the ad, well that was more of a challenge based on a lie.

How about telling the media and recruits that all the violations occurred under the previous staff? Obviously a lie and he knew it was a lie when he said it.

Pearl didn't have any help from Tennessee, he was more or less thrown under the bus as a way to deflect attention away from the football program and creating a lack of institutional control tag, I doubt the ncaas cares enough about the women programs you have been caught cheating in and will let OM hammer those to save freeze and football, the lack of institutional control penalty is all but unavoidable at this point anyway. LIC is a bitch, the ncaa can penalize even the clean programs if they so choose, like lose a men's basketball and baseball scholly for a couple of years to go along with the guilty programs punishments.

The allegations are against boosters who paid for things for Tunsil when he was a sophomore or junior at Ole Miss. Zero allegations about his recruitment. So, strike one.

He never said that. He said the majority were either about Tunsil or under the previous administration. 9 of 13 were. So that was correct. And, the most serious things involved the ACT test help by Saunders. So, strike two.

Please tell me you've got something else. Since "there are so many", certainly you can come up with an accurate one. I'll wait.

This will be interesting to watch. It's hard to discern the truth yet easy to see that the U of Miss administration has lied repeatedly to its fans and to the media for several months now. There were definitely lies told to salvage this last signing class. If the NCAA wants to be taken seriously, there could be USC level penalties handed down and Hugh Freeze could certainly be given a show-cause. My gut feeling though is that money talks and crap walks, so the penalties handed down will be damaging yet not severe as those probably deserved. It's the NCAA, so who really knows? Look how they allowed Miami to skate. Look at the lack of action taken against a decades long institutionalized academic fraud system at N. Carolina.

offense is the big deal... You can't take a booster to recruit with you. The rest of that is no big deal imo

It's notvtge amounts. It's the fact that he without a doubt did this. Meaning he's donevit multiple times. The amounts are what is known about. Meaning there are much larger amounts that weren't discovered. The amounts never matter. That's what they don't understand. If you prove they cheated and gave illegal benefits, which has been proven for multiple players, then it's obvious that there are more instances and larger amounts. Pretty simple.

I doubt any Aggie posters will do a bet with you.

Would make bets with Alabama or LSU posters, but OM? You've got to be kidding!
