If Notre Dame is playoff eligible should

The conference championship games only determine conference champions and not effect playoffs. I say yes. I thing the committee should have to name the four teams before the conference championship games are played and those four teams go to playoffs no matter what happens in conference championship. That is the only fair way for ND to ever be considered for a playoff spot.

Not playing the game hurts your more than it helps you. We sort of solved this back in the mid 1990's.

The conference championship games are the most legitimate "championship" in college football.

In August, every SEC team knows what they must do to get to Atlanta. No voting. No eye test. Just play football and see where you stand. No rankings. No politics.
