As goes the first four snaps in the first quarter, so goes the rest of the game, then?

exas was crushing Bama on both sides of the ball up until McCoy got hurt.. Then Bama opened a can of whoopass, but Texas came back and made it interesting, but it wasn't enough. Turned out to be a pretty good game..

But, Bama was getting manhandled up to the McCoy injury/quitting or whatever you wanna call it. And that's not to say it would've continued that way... momentum can change in a second.

Three and a half minutes into the game and Bama was getting manhandled and crushed?

Silly auNeck.

It actually might have gotten really ugly for Bama if he didn't get hurt

He didn't fall down a fricking flight of stairs on pregame. A star Alabama defense lineman hit him and the pussy couldn't take it. This is the most bs argument you could find.

Yeah, and McCoy might have gotten fricked right in the pussy on the fifty yard line to close the half if he hadn't gotten fricked right in the pussy at the start of the game.

It's just so hard to tell when under four minutes have run off the game clock.

His team also choked harder than anyone else did in the SEC that year. Blown 24 pt lead.

It's fun to reminiscence. Remember when McCoy went to a few doctors in the days and weeks following the game trying to find out what was wrong with him?

No one could find anything wrong. Many believe he did that just to cover the fact, or lend credibility to, his cowardice at not reentering the game.

The official word on the Colt Shoulder Syndrome was that "it felt funny". We can all take solace in the very real fact that the Colt's Shoulder team has sucked arse since that moment.

I still maintain it's because he went to all these orthopedists and sports medicine doctors looking for answers when he should have been at a gynecologist the whole time.

There has never been a more Germans thread in the history of Germany.

I applaud you for your effort. It takes a certain quality to not only start a shitty thread. But to start a shitty thread about something so outdated and previously discussed is a feat I haven't seen in my time here.

It does not take a certain quality to start a shitty thread. I plan on proving myself correct over the next few years.

It wasn't ideal for Alabama at first, but there's no way you watched or remember what happened at the start or at any point of this game.

Btw, Alabama...and LSU fans, what's up with some of Saban's in game decisions? Seriously nobody could ever hope for a man to put so much effort or care into a program, but he makes some wtf calls in games sometimes...

No kidding. For one, UTx wasn't beating Bama that night. Saban went into his prevent offense, not long after Colt went down. I don't think he does that, with Colt in the game.
He knew at that point, his defense would hold, and wanted to risk nothing, and shorten the game. I do believe he has smartened up since then, and stopped using that offense whenever he felt his defense couldn't be beat.
