I wasn't, but this reinforced it. Roll Tide.

"A&M will never succeed in the SEC"
Following Manziel lighting up the pigs for 700+:
"If he runs around like that he'll get hurt"
That was followed by a whole bunch of big stinkin' LB's tackling him and him bouncing up wanting more. And after 10 games to "figure him out", a very good Alabama defense just couldn't. A lot of doofuses here think this is all about some "scheme". It clearly isn't. Along with being a freaky ghost when running, he has the nicest touch on passes I've ever seen at A&M.

No brash predictions for '13: if we lose both junior tackles we're obviously worse off. I think we'll be better than this year or 2013 in 2014 with the recruits coming in. But if anybody thinks they "figured it out" you're fooling yourselves. Which is fine.

I agree, but I'd also remind you that this thread started with

Manziel 1.0 debuted in 2012 with much fanfare - had a few bugs which have now been largely worked out, but overall, it was a huge success.

Manziel 2.0 (to be released in the fall of 2013) will not probably not produce as gaudy individual stats for Johnny, but the overall team production will be even better than in 2012.

Better understanding of the offense, an actually better running game with Tra Carson, Brandon Williams adding their prowess to Trey Williams and Ben Malena, and better understanding by team members how to play under Manziel's style. The early part of the season, receivers and other players just stopped and became spectators watching Johnny do his thing - as the season went on, they learned to keep blocking, keep running to get open, etc.

A great receiving corp with 6'-6" Griffin coming in, hopefully RSJ, and a host of other really talented players, including Mike Evans. Sick.

If your team is designing their game plan using Manziel 1.0 software next year, you are going to get SMOKED!

It's no secret this league can and will adjust.

You didnt adjust to Tebow and Manziel has a lot more athleticism and a higher ceiling than he did.

If he does what he wants he will become the product of the Sumlin/CKK system and won't be eligible for the Heisman!
