LSU fans act like that penalty took points off the board. It most certainly did not.

It did.in the same way Bama fans claimed in 2011 that missing career long attempts for your kicker took points off the board. Lsu was running pretty effectively and that bs penalty definitely took the opportunity for lsu to score a td.

But you would have been real happy winning on a fumble that was dropped out of pain? Your guy shouldn't have pushed after the whistle and there wouldn't have been a penalty. Know why Reggie Ragland didn't push after his pants got pulled down? So he wouldn't get a penalty.

You were lucky to even have the ball in our territory to being with. Only due to Yeldons fumble were you fortunate to be in scoring position, not because you were moving the ball well.
You guys played it safe and it proved to be a costly error which cost you the game. No way you were making it into the EZ.

Are you serious with this? It's football. Pain is expected. Tyrone Prothro's leg almost hit the back of his ear and he held onto the ball. Pain is part of the sport. Calling a bs penalty that helps determine the game, isn't. If you can admit that it should have been offsetting at the least, you're being a homer. Did the call take a td of the board? Maybe maybe not. But it damn sure took the opportunity away.

I didn't like the penalty. Cant say it should have been offsetting but ref should have kept flag in his pocket.
That being said if it were me I'd be ticked at the player NOT the ref.

It should have been offsetting. You know what else is a part of the game? The second guy getting called for the penalty. Some missed calls and overcoming it for a win. If you don't think that is a part if every team sport out there you are blind or crazy.

You know what shouldn't be part of the game? Calling that foul in that situation. Ritter could have picked the flag up, he made a decision not to. After a fricking conference. After a play with 10+ players shoving each other. 2-3 different refs were pulling players away from the pile, one flag happy ref decided to play God.

But the difference is that pain is unavoidable in football. Blown calls are. 3 refs there saw both teams shoving and pushing. But only lsu gets called for it? Having to overcome horrible calls isn't the same thing has getting tackled and fumbling. When is the last time Bama got fricked in calls, and it helped cost them a game?honestly I'm asking because I can't remember.

Right. He picked up two different flags against Bama.

Are you and coworker friends? Mojo you're a sad individual if you are letting one game affect you in this bad of a Manor.

Plus, what did the Bama player do to warrant an UC call? He didn't push, nor shove the LSU player. He did attempt to help him off the Alabama player he was straddled 'by grabbing his leg for a very short time and where he noticed it upset the LSU player he let go immediately and started backing out. The LSU player lost his cool and shoved right in front of the refs. Did it warrant a UC, ? Maybe they were just warned to knock it off by the refs. Just because you don't like the call doesn't mean it wasn't warranted

You know what shouldn't be a part of the game? Whining about a bad call. LSU lost. Alabama won. Your kicker kicked the ball out of bounds like a dumb arse. They marched right down the field to score a field goal. They left a tight end unmarked because they don't know the rules and thought he was a tackle. Focus on all those plays instead.

Nothing "tainted" about it.

Go to ITAT and put on your tin foil hat like the rest of the crazies.

Yep, he made a correction to a bad call that had no infraction. No way can he pick up that flag as only the LSU player committed an actual UC act, no off setting was warranted. Sorry but the LSU player shouldn't have lost his cool after the Bama player tried to help him lift his leg off of the Bama player on the ground.

This may be the most ironic statement I've ever read on here. A Bama fan talking shite about a kicker messing up and that is part of the game.wow

I'm not an Alabama fan. And players messing up is a part of the game. If they mess up enough it can lead to losses. Your kicker was a dumbass when it mattered. Your defense was also dumb when it mattered. Play better football and you'll win more games. You have no one to blames but yourselves.
