Yup. Unfortunately they kinda own everyone. It's nauseating but it's reality.

TBH, I was surprised Bama's offense moved the ball like they did against LSU's defense.

The D played well in the first half. The lack of depth became pretty evident in the second, though.

This place would be 10x worse had LSU won. LSU fans need to quit whining about the trolling, we brought it on ourselves, as a group.

I think most would agree with this post 100%. I don't talk shite about football in general but the lead in to this game was just off the charts notable for its inaccuracy- like significantly worse than almost any example I can think of from recent memory. So while I don't like to kick anything when it's down, in light of all that pregame chatter I just had to do a little trolling this AM(I think you responded to one or two posts even!). It's all in good fun, usually. Well, not at Krytsal's.

It was 10X worse the two weeks leading up to the game.

And I would absolutely hate to be the guy who has to replace Saban

It won't be easy, but it's still Alabama.

Look what DuBose did there.

shite, look what Fran did to Saban while he was there. He beat Saban 31-0 the year before we won a national title. Granted, that was Saban's only loss to Bama. He also got blasted by Georgia 45-16 the year after we won a natty.

Even the almighty Lord Saban lost 3 or more games all but one of the seasons he was at LSU.

The pretrolling this year was particularly bad with LSU having Western Kentucky before their bye. But most of Bama jokes have been subtle, like with Sig pics and L5U. It's really just pretty quiet today. You really get to see how large of L5U percentage is usually on the rant.

I just pray I never live to see anyone win 8 straight on Bama.

Yeah their team earned it for them, no problem with it whatsoever.

Agreed.

Bama was the better team, but LSU's defense really played pretty well until they simply gave out of gas.

I'm not even sure depth was that much of an issue. 12 first downs, 182 yards, and 20:33 in time of possession. They were just on the field way too long. Even as deep as Bama's D goes, they'd have been sucking a lot of air with those stats.

We've never avenged 21-0, and never will. The subsequent debacles in 2012 and 2014 have made me resigned to our fate as Bama's bitch. But eventually Saban will retire.

Y'all have a decent offense right now, one that will more than likely win out the rest of the year. That offense just met their match Saturday night.

I guess it's decent but consider we have a stellar RB and a supposedly strong and experienced OL. even 2013 with an absurd level of skill talent only put up 17 on Bama. It's the scheme and it'll never work well against a Saban defense. So we're always playing for second place in the west. At least I understand and accept that now so I don't get too mad about it.

Saban ain't gonna be there forever.

So we should hold out hope that Saban leaves to afford us an opportunity to win?

It was Miles' job to have our squad ready and during the bye week, they were doing other things than what was needed to get done.

I don't ever do it simply because I hated it when Tuberville would do his fingers crap but, you know what, it's all in good fun anyway.
