Does Ole Miss go ahead and self impose a bowl ban this year to avoid this possibility in the future from the NCAA?

What do you mean "If"?

I think you mean "When"

I think it'd be a smart move. That'd be 4 losses with 5 being a distinct possibility.

I understand. I'm stating that OM will lose another one to either aTm or Auburn.

We've already reviewed the allegations and self imposed penalties. Why the hell would we add a bowl ban we don't deserve?

Because you are going to get at least a one year bowl ban. As someone else stated, it's gonna be a great day when the sanctions come down.

It's going to be a good game. I would imagine that crowd is going to be rocking and give OM hell. We need to start fast and stop their run and make Kelly panic a bit. They have some big WRs so our DBs will have to be the most physical this year. Our defense will have to play lights out, I almost know LF and Guice will get their yards. I believe LSU will have a nice wrinkle for OM's defense and it's what I love about coach O he attacks and changes things if it's not working. He tries different things until they find what is working. Love it but i believe they will take full advantage of their attacking style defense. I guess we'll see...

This tells you how tough the SEC west is especially this year, it's nuts.

The melt will be glorious, but it won't be me who's melting. We will have to have some significant new allegations show up. Doesn't seem like it's moving that way.

If you honestly think the Ncaa will look at their current season and say "Punished enough" you are sadly mistaking. The Ncaa got the run-a-round and it's one thing to be caught cheating in the other sports but what they have uncovered in football is mind blowing.

Accademic fraud alone is a huge deal. Throw in Freeze sitting on a couch next to a booster during a recruiting visit, the house situation for the parents of a recruit, the numerous boosters one by one getting exposed....well, you tell me?

And it's not just the bossters being uncovered etc, it's how far back this goes. The Ncaa has changed their rules which now allow them to go back pre-current coach on top of it. I hardly think after this many years of instotuional cheating and investigation that they are going to help Ole Miss out. Especially after being misled.
