at the top college level a coach "mailing it in" will seriously damage their career and that's how it should be. a professional does the job he's paid to do. and he's paid well.

I don't know about mailing it in but I do expect struggles at least early on. They struggled in the first half last year without this as a distraction. That's why I expect a much closer game than everyone else.

If Kiffin's obviously not putting in the effort and we are struggling in a close game, dont think Saban wont kick his arse off the sideline at halftime and bring Sark down on the field to fill in.

This. He's always seemed to have a good relationship with the players if you go by the sideline behavior.

You'd think that after stepping on their own dick so many times, they'd just shut the frick up. Somebody please explain to them that if you don't open your mouth, there's NO WAY your foot can get up in there.
