I could see he stay one more year maybe but not two

He would have 4 losses to Les and LSU instead of 2 for sure.

It's safe to say he would probably own every major CFB record for QBs when he left.
geez that's a dumb thought. Not even close!

Does he still have top ten draft picks protecting him at tackle for the next two years?
Posted on 12/22/13 at 1:39 pm to RunLindsayRun
Since he isn't putting 700 yards on us, I think that would be great for him to stay.

Well he hasn't requested draft forms and his family has all but denied him going into the draft so I guess we'll see.

Not holding my breath on him staying and honestly I don't think he fits into sumlins system at all. Just stating what I've heard.
He didn't request forms because he knows he's a first round lock, Clowney did the same. And his family hasn't said anything on the matter, other than he's going.

He's already the GOAT whether it is a unanimous opinion or not. If I did a giant fantasy draft of every college football player to ever play, he'd be my number one pick. Therefor GOAT.

Two Heisman invites and a trophy fills some space. I'd love to see him come back. The most exciting player in CFB.

I question whether he survives to the NFL. The guy has had quite a few injuries. I don't think he's injury prone, but he takes a lot of hits, and Manziel is not a big guy who can absorb a lot of punishment. Admittedly, I don't know much about the A&M Oline, but I haven't seen or heard anything to convince me they will be any better. Couple that with the fact that he is most dangerous when moving around and extending plays (which opens him up to more and bigger hits), and you get a recipe for disaster. He needs to get to the NFL pronto.
But yes, I do think he is possibly the most statistically (from a yardage standpoint) impressive player, at least in recent history. However, I do think he should carry more of the "system QB" stigma that guys from programs like Houston have garnered where they rack up tons of yards because they throw so often. That's not a shot at his abilities because he is a really good (probably great) QB, but the numbers are at least a little inflated.

FWIW, I think he goes to the NFL. But:
You do remember he was the SEC's leading rusher last year, right?
LSU degenerates may be right - he might not beat them next year, either. Or the year after that. Chavis seems to have it figured out. Trying my best to be objective, I'd love to see him come back because he's just so much fun to watch.

Lol no. Not close.
That's weird. I think it's close and he probably would be the GOAT.

This. It's just fun to watch him play for my alma mater.

Eh, I'd probably say "most fun" or "most exciting" of all time. GOAT, maybe not. It's hard to look at it solely in the confines of what you're doing in college ball.
There are definitely more clutch guys and better leaders.
There are definitely more physically rare guys.
There are definitely guys in the conversation with better pro potential.
I just think the lack of team success is going to cause the legacy to fade. Honestly, 10 years from now, do we really think JFF is coming up at the top of the list when we have this conversation? Unless he somehow has a good pro career, I just don't see it.

Admittedly, having only watched maybe 5 games of theirs last year, it seems like I addressed this in the "most dangerous when improvising" part of my post. The majority of his rushing yards came on pass plays he scrambled on, correct?
