The Heisman has been a joke for several years now. It's nothing more than a media popularity contest and rarely goes to the 'best player' in the country, it goes to the most intriguing story, and oh by the way, his team better not lose more than one or two games.

The difference between JFF and Cam/Tebow is he hasn't given us any reason to hate him. Cam and Tebow were media whores with polarizing personalities. JFF has just now been allowed to speak to the media.

I don't have a problem with JFF, but he's a system QB. All Sumlin's QBs put up huge #s.

Not big deal if you think Sumlin has system quarterbacks.. I get that.
Do you seriously think that a QB that rushes for over 1000 yards is part of the system? Do you think a QB that rushes for over 700 yards on scrambles is a "system QB".
What kind of system are you thinking about? Surely you cannot be this ignorant when it comes to football?

Sure he is, he works in sumlin's system of having the QB pass the football accurately, run for a first down, and make amazing plays.
As opposed to Miles's system, where the QB passes directly to the ground, hands it off, or throws it into the stands. Or takes a sack.

It wouldn't surprise me if they gave the Heisman to Manti Te'o of Notre Dame but JFF deserves it. There were probably several orgasms last night from members of the media when the Irish beat USC.
