Bama could go 1-11 as long as we beat Auburn. Any time we lose to them, the season is ruined.

Bill Curry can attest to that.

They take half of the recruits with their money and have got lucky in Iron Bowl games where Bama was a win away from wining it all. I can only imagine what a world would be like without Auburn.

But thats like saying Florida cost Bama a championship in 94 and 08. OSU cost them one last year and on and on.

But they take a lot of Alabama guys. i'l never understand why someone would cheer for Auburn or attend there. Those people have no state pride at all

That is AU's identity as a program. Without dramatic wins over Bama AU's football program would basically have no identity other than a couple of seasons.

Without Auburn, Bama would only have 5 championships. Auburn whooping Bama's arse pushed Bama into hiring Bear and Saban. Without the Bear there is no Stallings. That's 10 championships you owe to Auburn.

So you're saying Bama has 15 championships.
