What he has done at USM has been phenomenal.
took over 0-11 team that was a complete shitstorm.

3-8
8-3 and playing for a conference title on Saturday.
They lead Conference USA in total offense and total defense. He came from your old Big 12 buddy Oklahoma State and has also been at LSU.

Power programs hiring coaches from Southern Miss have a good history.
Fedora has been good at North Carolina, and of course Bobby Collins was awesome at what he did at SMU.

I knew they had won some games this year, but did not realize how they were doing it. Doesn't matter what level of football - if you have a team putting up conference leading numbers on offense and defense both, then you are well coached.

Monken's relying pretty heavily on JUCOs this year @ USM... he will have to adjust his strategy and hire a bunch of legit recruiters.
Still could do much worse than him, tho.
