Most QB coaches in the SEC are actually good.

For whatever reason, LSU's just hasn't been.

Of course the only way you're going to get him is to hire as a head coach. But I think fWIW Kragthrope (sp?) is a very good QB coach. I'm not sure Les is letting him coach like he can. He's holding him back IMO. Ex. I would bet good money he wanted to play J. Lee in BCSNC 12' game.

There was a reason why Lee didn't play. And it wasn't because of Lee's performance in T-Town

If LSU could have gotten a good quarterback in the last couple of years, they would have the skins on the wall, not Bama

JFF throws back across his body, left handed, and off balance. Yet his coach is the one you want for your QB?

Ok....

How about those two throws on the last TD drive against bama? Those were pretty good and not any of the things you just mentioned.

Yeah. Only picking out the bad. And the kid can make the off balance across the body throws without making many mistakes bc he's exceptionally talented and better than any QB Bama has on their roster. Just get some ointment for your hemorrhoids so you can stop feeling so damn butthurt over him beating your precious Tide and give the man and his coach the cred they deserve.

The kid is amazing and his coach allows him to do stuff most QB coaches would cringe to see a player do. Either that, or JFF just does it anyway after being coached not to.
That doesn't make him a good QB coach.

The reason he let's him make those throws is bc he can pull them off. He's just different from all other QBs and can do stuff most of them can't. And honestly there's not much coaching done to this kid. I mean he won the heisman as a freshman so he already knows most of what there is to know at this level. And kragthorpe can obviously coach QBs he turned a WR into a starting NFL QB. Has "coached" a heisman winner and Jamiell Showers is a starter on many other teams.

JFF style of play is equivalent to a 10 year old playing NCAA with a mobile QB. It works, at least this past year it did, but it definitely isn't archetypical QB play.

He did pretty damn good with Case Keenum, not sure if he was Kevin Kolbs QB coach or not.
