Auburn is Heisman U. John Heisman was a coach here and we've had 3 players win it.

Florida is Heisman University.

Ohio State Heisman winners:

1944 - Les Horvath
1950 - Vic Janowicz
1955 - Hopalong Cassady
1974 - Archie Griffin
1975 - Archie Griffin
1995 - Eddie George
2006 - Troy Smith

I don't know how many runners-up and third place finishes we've had, because I simply don't care. But congrats on those three.

Pretty sure Ohio State and Notre Dame are Heisman U with each having 7 Heisman winners.

Non-SEC Heisman's worth much, much less IMO.

Maybe nothing.

So you ignore his first half stats entirely AND his last drive?

So essentially you want to ignore almost three full quarters of football and focus on one quarter, AND he still had more yards and a higher ypc than Fournette in that time.

If LF7 had busted off 70 yard run with a minute to go and it put him over 100 yards would he get the credit for the 100 yard rushing game or would we hear about garbage time?

Be honest

In the first 3 quarters of the game Henry rushed 126 yards for 5.04 ypc.

This just makes it a closer race. I still think LF7 wins. That McCaffrey kid at Stanford is pretty damn good too though.

Ingram might be the worst winner ever

I can admit that

If they weren't willing to give the Heisman to thugs AJ would've won

That was the guy who led every major statistical category for a running back that year.

Ingram was nowhere near him.

Henry is not going to win because we will not showcase a player at the expense of the team like some do.

I have heard of two of those and the most famous was not for football. Outside of Orlando Pace I couldn't name any of your players.

He's been getting like 30 carries per game

But LF has the way better QB and way better OL. Henry deserves it more.

I see what you did there and I like it.

You're missing the fact that Henry's last drive WASN'T garbage time. It was a game sealing drive. Alabama ran Henry in critical times on that drive. They ran him on 3rd and 10 and he went for 25.

Cooper should have won, all of the rest were in the right system at the right time. Cooper is one of the best collegiate recievers I have ever seen.

Cooper was never going to win over Mariota.

Ever.

And Mariota was far more important to Oregon than Cooper was for us

24, but if I squint I can see it your way. Since we are going to be ornery rather than reasonable, Henry has played against far better talent.

Would have to understand this to see it your way. We all cry SEC bias while ignoring the once upon a time real bias. Enjoy the minor leagues acorn. Best wishes to your coach and his "health".
