Is there any chance they could go? I know it's probably been asked, but I couldn't find a sure answer.

To the Sugar Bowl in place of Auburn? Yes.

I thought they said early in the year that whoever won the conference championships would go.

This was a remote possibility if they beat Florida State but they didn't.
Maybe they would go to the Sugar Bowl instead of Auburn though, and then Alabama is still in the playoff but not the 1 seed.

I have just as good a chance of making the playoff as FLA does. They won't score more than 6 today.

Florida has a shot ya know..... Bama is real good, but not unbeatable....... that friction between Saban and Kiffen could be a factor today.........
