If Bama loses LSU will begin pushing for the game to take place.

If Florida loses they will say frick it.

Yes - mainly because win or lose i only get to see LSU play a few times a year. To have one of the better matchups taken away because Sankey is a feckless weak leader pisses me off.

I know So yeah - outside of the whole 'if we win out' hypotheticals (which i know are remote) at the end of the day i just want to see the Tigers play. A concept foreign to UForfeit to be sure but that's just me.

ETA: the part that still amazes me that Sankey as commissioner allowed that conference call to end without a plan in place for a makeup. He sat there and let the call be adjourned with the final decision being 'postpone the game - we'll figure out a makeup date later'. Who in their right mind would do this knowing full well the backlash that would ensue? And then a week later to still have nothing except white boards and we're working on it? frick man get it together.

Wait, you think uf fans don't want to see our football team? You were just lashing out in frustration, right?

plenty of UForfeit fans posting here 'enjoying their bye week', 'heading to the beach', 'would rather not play a game with less revenue - better to cancel and collect insurance' posts on this board. Sure you'll say they're all just kidding/trolling and maybe you're right but only one fanbase as a whole seems genuinely upset this game got cancelled and that's LSU.

If the fans want to see football where is the outrage at Foley for not even entertaining the idea of a Sunday or Monday game? He HAD to know that once that call ended with no plan for a makeup the odds of making something work were remote. It could have been played Sunday or Monday and Foley nixed it.

List off the offers made by Foley to get this game played this weekend - i can only think of two. 1) Gainesville at the regularly scheduled time or 2) Gainesville at 6:00. If that's acceptable to you then yeah i question whether or not you actually want to see the game played.

I can't speak for everyone but I was dealing with a hurricane and it's after effects. I would have rather have seen UF and other teams play. Love watching football. So, at least in my case, your assumption was incorrect. I get the lashing out though as irrational as it is.

I'm not claiming to be 100% rational
