Against Alabama last year, Dak was 0/5 passing and had 6 rushes for 5 yards (including a 7 yard run, meaning the average of his other 5 rushes was negative). I'm not even sure what else to say.

Yeah, my fault. Upon further review, those were Damien Williams stats. I apologize to the Dak fan club and Miss St. fanbase.

Yeah, my bad. I saw backup QB that started with D and brain farted. It's been a long day.

In Williams' defense, he hit DayRunnyou "Bear" Wilson in the hands in the end zone with a perfectly thrown ball that the kid just flat out dropped... Blown coverage by the Bama secondary if I recall correctly.

Same thing happened against y'all right before Dak came in as well. Robinson isn't bad IMO.

He also had two tip toe sideline catches in the 4th Qrt. against OM that gave us a chance to win it on a last second field goal. and then Sobiesk missed it

He was a true freshman. And he can absolutely sling it. He is big and athletic and will be a good qb.

Funny thing is -- Williams had at least 3 drops -- including one that would have put us within 6 with 6 minutes to play. 1:46:30

ETA: We always had drops when going from Russell to either other QB. Both threw much quicker than Russell and require more receiver anticipation -- and we struggled with it at times last year.

Yet, it never seems to effect the outcome when we play y'all, funny thing football is.
