I'm glad we had out WTF moment for the Arky game. Got it out of the way early. Now the offense has confidence in the defense and can relax and play more effectively.

I was torn.. I didn't want them coming to Starkville trying to redeem themselves from a shitty loss (which it almost was) but Bert earned it and almost got his very first SEC win. You'd think Arkansas never got one first down if you came here before watching the game..

Yeah -- the top 25 passing D from last year which brought back 7 of 8 in the 2-deep suddenly forgot how to cover. Look a little deeper(completion percentage D, pass efficiency D, passes defended, sacks, etc) -- the yards/game number is a fluke based on 5 or 6 big plays -- ALL of which were without our starting free safety who is back and 100% for you.
