I'm not sure if much would've changed actually. Corch would've stuck with Tebow still in 09. Our team was kind of a mess in 10.

Florida fans actually thought John Brantley was better at the time Cam left

Plenty of what-ifs from our perspective as well:

1994 Cotton Bowl - What if Leeland McElroy doesn't drop the hook and lateral? Is there a 2-way split for the title between Florida State and Texas A&M?

1998 season: What if Texas misses the field goal and Mississippi State beats Tennessee? Does A&M play Florida State for the title?

2000 season: What if the block in the back is actually called properly on Torrance Marshall's INT return? What if R.C. Slocum actually uses Ja'Mar Toombs on 1st and goal from the Oklahoma 8 down 4 with 2 minutes left? Does Bob Stoops ever win a title?

2002-2004: What if R.C. Slocum isn't fired and Kevin Sumlin never goes to Oklahoma? Does Drew Tate stay with A&M? (Decommitted once Fran was hired) Does Adrian Peterson go to A&M? (Sumlin recruited him to OU)

2006 season: What if the refs don't overturn the Mark Dodge interception on Texas Tech's final drive? What if Franchione knew how to add against OU? (you don't kick a FG down by 4 late, dumbass) What if Mike Goodson stayed inbounds against Nebraska? (Up 6 with 2 minutes left, lost by 1)

2011 season: What if Mike Sherman wasn't an incompetent buffoon when up 3 scores?

2012 Florida game: What if Kingsbury allowed Manziel to throw downfield in the second half?

2012 LSU game: What if Taylor Bertolet could hit a field goal within 35 yards or an extra point for that matter?

2013 Alabama game: What if JaQuay Williams didn't quit on his route?

2013 Auburn game: What if Penn Wagers actually made the right call (Horse Collar)?

Bobby Petrino was coaching at Arkansas while Cam Newton was at Florida.

Ok what's your point? Cam would've started over JB if he had stayed.

No.

No. Florida State had already beaten y'all and probably would've played Ohio State.

Here are the ones all Missouri fans will love:

What if the officials called a time out to confirm down and distance against Colorado in 1991?

What if the illegal touching call is made on Nebraska in the endzone in 1997 (kicking the ball)

Brantley was always ahead of Cam on UFs roster. Quit kidding yourself. No UF fans cared that Cam left...until they saw what he could do with some coaching.

Or if they didn't wet the bed in the 07 Big 12 title game.

You sure?

#4 A&M wins the Cotton Bowl over #2 Notre Dame 28-24.

That leaves Florida State at 12-1, Texas A&M at 11-1, Notre Dame at 10-2, Nebraska at 10-2, and Auburn at 11-0 (on probation)

You could give Florida State the title, but A&M beat Notre Dame, who beat Florida State...

At the time of the Texas game, A&M was #5 in the BCS and Ohio State was #6.

It was:

#1 Tennessee
#2 Kansas State
#3 UCLA
#4 Florida State
#5 Texas A&M

in the BCS poll leading up to Thanksgiving weekend

No he wasn't. Brantley had to redshirt in 07. Cam was ahead in 08 until he had to take a medical redshirt after the Hawaii game.

That game wasn't close, nor was the one they played Oklahoma in earlier.

I'm only mentioning games which one play determined the outcome (one score games)

Florida State had the best resume. They actually played a tough schedule that year. Nebraska only had one loss too.

He was ahead because Cam was getting in trouble like cheating on papers etc. But keep telling yourself we would've sat a 6'5" 245 lb athletic freak We saw Cam play in 2007 and you could tell he was special.

You could say that. A&M's only loss before the bowls was at Oklahoma.

Florida as school might or might not have disciplined Cam. No way Urbie would have ever kicked him off the team short of murder. Aaron Hernandez proves that

Y'all got drilled by the Sooners though, who finished 9-3 at #19.

Luckily Cam got to go to a place like Auburn which has always been known for playing within the rules.
