Yah that hit was exceptionally brutal wasn't it.

Obviously didn't have to be. Thanks for helping to point out what all of us have been saying about Bray.

Bray may have more yards and touchdowns because of the style of offense, but I bet AJ McCarron finishes with less interceptions, a higher rating, passing efficiency, and completion percentage, than Bray.

Oh yeah. And way more wins...

A hit did not cause the injury.

No. Failed pass protection did cause it, which was the whole point. Your returning offensive line which is charged with Bray's protection isn't nearly as good as you guys think they are.

Congrats

Teams like Texas Tech strive for these kinds of accomplishments. Good to see where Tennessee is now, as a program.

Because some random poster on a sports board made a prediction, you now now what Tennessee strives for, and where they are as a program? If I said Tennessee was going to win the NC, would you all of a sudden consider Tennessee an elite BCS program?

Luke Joekel and Jake Matthews are first round draft grades and better than anything at Bama

Fluker is recognized as the best OT by as many people that say Luke is the best OT in the class.

Jones is the best Center prospect, also on the Rimmington Watch List.

Warmack is the best Guard prospect.

Already told you Cyrus K is the best Sophomore OT prospect.

Steen isn't as good as the rest, but he'd start at a lot of schools.

Bama's entire O-Line has combined for almost 100 starts with most of those being against SEC teams.

I'm not saying A&M's O-Line is bad by any means, but it isn't as good as Bama's on paper. How they play in the fall is a whole different story.

Well...no one will say that Bray is better than Peyton Manning Im sure...who..btw, was 0-4 against UF and I was there in the Swamp in 1997 when Peyton was senior and we took a pick back 89 yds to the house...very very very loud. Peyton had his best chance to beat UF in 1997, as we had won the MNC the year before adn lost a lot of talent.
Spurrier was in the heads of Vols.

UT has been mediocre since a few years before Fulmer was forced out..you know it, I know it and they know it. Wait til you win a few games...then get back with us.

Bottom line: Bray>McCarron

I know the 13 IQ points you are down to now may not allow you to see that, but that is just how it is.

Seems like you value stats more than championships. Good luck with that.

P.S. - I still believe some SEC linebacker will break Bray in half and he misses at least three games this year.

Like Bray couldn't win a championship with Bama's D.

McCarron > Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, Drew Brees

None of those guys ever won a NCAA title, and we all know that's the be all end all for determining QB skill.

That's your point though right? NCAA championships are the ultimate decider of QB talent.

I mean McCarron did basically win the 2012 title for Alabama.

You take him off that roster, and Bama stuggles to win 6 games.

Well, I would say that if you are going to make a "best of" comparison, you need to define the comparative terms first.

In this case - for QB - yards, completion ratio, etc etc are all valuable modifiers. But so are wins, injuries, and championships.

Bray may well throw for the most yards this year in the SEC. But that stat alone might mean diddly squat in the end when the SEC championship game is over. He might have the best stats and be far from being the best QB.

Bray is the better QB /discussion

I do not think the bolded part will happen. How about a ban bet? Bray gets broken in half and I will never post her again... if he doesn't get broken in half this season, you stop posting.

Deal?

No, because that's just silly and I'm a grown up. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bray get injured in some superficial way because he has a history of doing so, and frankly, he doesn't have a physique that inspires confidence in durability. That doesn't guarantee he will, only that there is some likelihood of it happening. I have no particular desire to see you quit posting just because you have a dissenting opinion than mine. Isn't that what the SECRant is all about?
