I think AJ is more likely to shite the bed, as Lee is much more battle tested.

However, any QB will crumble under enough pressure. If LSU's Oline can't protect him, he'll make dumb plays like any QB. If they really can't protect him, its likely you'll see JJ for more than 2-3 series because of his mobility.

The difference for LSU is that we have another QB who WILL get in the game at different times to change the pace. Jefferson will be ready to go and that will relieve the pressure on Lee to do everything. This is the same tandem that has gone against Alabama the past 2 years and they are much better now.

Alabama forgets about Kragthorpe and the difference that he has made in our QBs.

Also, Crowton is gone. To go along with Alabama's defense, Crowton would also "helter-skelter" the LSU offense into ineptitude with his playcalling. LSU has been really efficient this year and if we had scored TDs in the Miss. St. game instead of kicking 4 FGs inside the Redzone, LSU would not have scored less than 35 in any game this season.

Bama fans think that they are the only team that can field a defense. Bama will have the best defense that LSU has faced, but it isn't like Lee has never seen a blitz before - or a blitz from Bama before.

Certainly cannot argue your point here.Good analysis

Good point. When the Bama D becomes too much for Lee to handle they can put JJ in to get his arse whooped too.

Hey Bama just whoops everyone right

I honestly don't think either quarterback will play well at all.

Except for Jefferson. I think he plays very well.

he's used to throwing off his back foot and is good at it. Even peyton complemented on it a few weeks ago

Not sure how to put up the link but I was watching a you tube yesterday of 08-10 of the good things he did. All you hear about is the bad but you can see lots of potentials. We are not going to implode. This is going to be a great game. I know Bama is a lot better than last year but they seem to think we have won 19 of our last 21 with some kind of hogus pokias .

That's my biggest worry. He still looks shaky when he sees pressure, but he hasn't seen it consistently.

Not sure how he will react when he knows it's coming

That would be delusional even for a Bama fan. He has done nothing to even hint of this.

Looked good hitting Randle last year.

Even LSU fans need to watch some video of J.L. More often than not he steps with back foot to square his body. Go ahead and flame .

It's going to be an advantage how well Lee throws off his back foot.

Seriously, Bama gonna bring the heat.

Against the team that is first in the conference in both sacks and tackles for loss allowed? And also first in turnover margin?

I sure do hope that is Saban's gameplan.

Yes, Bama will bring the heat and, yes, Lee will struggle to handle it...which is why you'll see plenty of JJ.
