Doesn't matter how hard UGA fans wished they had Nick Fairly, The chances of him getting into UGA with his manufactured high school GPA were as slim as Pat Dye listening to his AA sponsor.

Auburn has no reason to go to these Western schools any more than UGA, Florida or Tennessee has to travel to Texas A&M, Arkansas, Ole Miss and State.

Put yourselves in our shoes.
I would embrace Alabama every single year. That game is exciting and challenging as frick. But it's just one game.
Logic goes against us being in the West, so unless there is some huge incentive to still play there, why are we wasting our time and resources. We are way closer to Eastern Schools.
Money is money and we have more than provided our share over more than a century while giving money to the poorer teams that talk shite about us every year...while NEVER accomplishing anything in return.
Screw the West teams other than Bama and LSU.
