The game will be closer than most are expecting.... but we've got more depth at most positions, especially on the DL... and that summer heat is gonna suck.

Auburn's defense is going to be a bigger factor than their offense especially against Arkansas who will have the pieces in place for a ball control run based offense, the passing game is still a question but a very good group of WRs have been added.

Arkansas' best defense will be an offense that can create 4+ minute scoring drives against Auburn, aTm, Ole Miss, and TTU next season.

First game of the season is when defenses are usually ahead of the offenses. Game is played in Auburn where the crowd will be amped up and very few pigs will be in attendance.

1. Auburn - has almost every starter back on offense and Gustavo will have 9 months to prepare an attack.

2. arkansas - has fat bert who is spending his offseason talking about his transfer philosophy and making clandestine meeting with his midget sabben to try and change college football rules.

This game will not be close. Auburn is going in dry. arkansas is gonna squeal like a pig and go back home wondering why they got skull drug so bad.

Arkansas is 3-1 against Auburn in Jordan-Hare the past 4 trips, your lone win was with Cam.

Yet we somehow continue to win there.

The Hogs aren't intimidated by Jordan Hare.

That was with CTT in charge who always found a way to lose a game against a crappy opponent like georgia tech, ole miss, or arkansas.

History is not significant unless it is current.

What is Auburn's home record with Coach Gus? (The best coach in the SEC).

There is your answer.

you hope for a turnaround will die at the close of week 1.

pigs gonna get killed.

no doubt at all.

Personally I don't like this game. I don't remember the last opener that we played well in.

Are you guys arguing the game will be easier bc it's played in auburn?... What happened eight years ago is irrelevant.... just like what happened last year will have no bearing on the upcoming game.

Most Aubbie fans seem to think so.

Agreed... it's a style that'll keep ark in games and prevent blowouts (they didn't get blown out after the bama game iirc).

The problem is you gotta be flawless on those long drives... can't afford TOs like last year or drops by WRs.

No response Dale? Can I take that to mean you're not as confident as you like to portray?

In recent memory, you've only beaten us during our dumpster fire (ATPB) seasons, so don't get your hopes up, AU's got their shite together. So prepare thyself, AU's gonna cut itself a big slab of pork off you frickers.
