Bama is a GREAT team and if they beat LSU, I will give respect where respect is due. However, I happen to think LSU will win. Will Bama fans concede that LSU is pretty good if we win? Even if it's a 9-6 type ball game like last year? I saw a LOT of people saying "Bama beat themselves" last year.

What say you? Will the Bama fanbase be able to concede that this is the juggernaut it is if this happens? By and large, I say yes.

In a close game scenario, barring some obvious frick job by the refs or something stupid, yes. However, if Alabama wins in the fashion that I am talking about, it would be hard to claim a similar frick job. If the same happens only with LSU on top, I will be the first to say that they obviously have a MUCH better team than I thought.
ETA: Well maybe not the first because It will be probably Monday before I'm even close to a computer again to post, but once I am able to get online and do so.

I foresee there being LSU fans marveling at the machine that is UA and how there is no way anyone beats us.
Surely you've been here long enough to know that ain't happenin'...
They will have lost on cheating refs/no holding/missed interception/SEC Office in Birmingham/blah blah blah...or a repeat of the grandest delusion of them all, a total team rebellion and meltdown, like the spin after the BCS humiliation.

No, Bama is a great team and program. LSU is also. When two good teams smash heads someone has to lose. If it's LSU, so be it. If it's Alabama, great. THere are only 3 things I hope that come out of this game:
1) Whoever wins, goes on to win the SEC and the other doesn't get a mulligan like in 2011. As much as I love seeing 2 SEC teams playing for the national title and rubbing it in the nation's face, I believe in karma and at one point the bias will go against the SEC because of too much preferential treatment. If LSU wins, Bama needs to move to the back of the line like everyone else, if Bama wins, LSU is out of NC race.
2) No injuries to either team. This game usually beats the shite out of each team. Hopefully no permanent injuries happen.
3) The refs don't influence the game. Hopefully they let the players play instead of calling everything like the UGA/UF game this past weekend.
The nation will be watching, let's make the SEC proud.

Hook, line, and sinker!
Team of the decade, no doubt. The next USC.
What about Bama with 5 of the first 35 picks in the draft last year looked beatable before the game in Tuscaloosa?
Your line of thinking is the most important element of defeat. And, yes, I know you don't play for Bama, but the ones that do are human, too.

If Alabama keeps winning in the same manner they are winning, they will go down as one of the greatest college football teams ever. It just seems like everyone else is down a notch this year, but Alabama stayed the same. I don't think anyone really thinks this year's Bama' is better than last years.

Let them keep thinking they are unbeatable. The same things were said about other teams, including one that beat Texas A&M 77-0.

Yeah, if you think our players think that then you are high. It's our job as fans to be over confident. It's what we do. It's what all fans do.
And for the record, we may not be unbeatable, but I don't there there is a team playing COLLEGE football than can do it this year.
ETA: Dammit, quoted wrong post to begin with.

Look - you have a better coaching staff than us and equal to slightly better talent. It will shock no one if Bama wins. This doesn't mean however that we will come back here and pat you on the damn back, you retard.
No other team in CFB has the inferiority complex of Bama. Constantly beating their own drum, trying to find ways to bring up mythical titles from 75 years ago as if it somehow matters today.
Do you really think that we're going to suddenly start thinking highly of you, if you win a game?
Get real. You are the fricking enemy.

The problem with this is that LSU hasnt won their games in the same fashion that Alabama has. We have not only beaten all of our opponents (which LSU has not), we have embarrassed them.
It's a bit of a different scenario.
LSU was this last year, Proving any team can be beaten (especially when having to play twice)!

What happens to Bama fans if LSU pulls of the miracle and wins by, say, 10-14 points?
