I do believe there is enough Big10 and Pac-12 bias to keep us at 5, even if we win.

CBS kept Alabama out of the playoffs last season so why wouldn't it work again?

The CBS B1G TV contract leveraged TCU into the slot thinking that they would be easy pickings for Michigan.
And then Michigan took a big fat dump in Arizona.

Okay what happens in this scenario.
Louisville beats FSU.
Michigan beats OSU but loses to Iowa.
Bama beats Georgia
Texas beats OkSt.
Oregon loses to Oregon State. Then Arizona State beats Washington in the Pac championship.

Louisville 12-1 ACC champs
FSU 12-1
Bama 12-1 SEC champs
Georgia 12-1
Michigan 12-1
OSU 12-1
Texas 12-1
Washington 12-1

conference Champs.
ACC-Louisville
SEC- Alabama
BIG-Iowa
Big 12-Texas
Pac-Arizona.

What kind of Chaos would that leave.

This year there ain’t going to be two teams from the same conference in the playoffs. PAC 12 for once is in play as it should be.
