I still expect Tennessee to need to recruit for a few years to compete with the big boys but if it happens earlier I’ll take it.

This thing was never dead to Bama and the Vols. Other fanbases kept saying it's dead, it's over, blah blah and we kept saying you have no idea what you're talking about. It just needed for both to be good again for everyone to see. Most on here don't even remember Peyton Manning playing at UT but they think they are experts on a longstanding rivalry. Their take is 2010 was the stone ages. This one doesn't go back 20 years. It goes back to the dawning of the SEC.
There isn't many more rivalries in America where the two fanbases AND players genuinely despise each other as much as this one.
