I'm going for UGA.

But should either school start pummeling the other, I'm going for the school delivering the beatdown.

That is because I would like to inflict emotional agony on either fan base.

If Saban were coaching UGA LSU fans would root for Bama.

I didn't start a thread this morning. So, what's stuck in your crawl this morning that caused a response thread? The intent was obvious and really needed not be posted. Your feelings about Bama are well documented here. Don't let it get to you.

I'm pulling for Florida. It's just smart. Ole Miss needs 2 losses for Bama to have a chance. I pulled for Vandy last week. I don't have anything against OM...it's just pragmatic.

Exactly. Rooting for Florida and UGA. I can't shake the feeling that Bama wins somewhat easily though.

sorry not everyone roots for bama. you shouldn't get your feelings hurt over it. if it makes you feel better you can start an "I'll will be rooting for E. Michigan" thread and i'll pretend that i'm really angry about it.

You're particularly Bamasessed, even by lofty LSU standards.

Unless some unusual factor is at work, such as needing a certain team to be involved in a multi-way tie for your division (which doesn't come into play until late in the season), a fan should always root for a team from the other division against a team from his own team's division. If Georgia and Florida can hand Alabama and Ole Miss an extra SEC loss, that only helps everyone else in the West. The only West teams that it might not help are the ones like Auburn and Arkie who are basically out of the picture already anyway. For them, it's probably better for Alabama and Ole Miss to be as highly ranked as possible when they play them so if the miracle upset happens, they get maximum credit. For any team actually hoping to win its division, it's always best for other division contenders to lose to opponents from the opposite division.

So, GEAUX DAWGS AND GATORS!
