Look at the map again. You'll see it aligns perfectly with how we voted and fought E. TN was abolitionist and union. Save for spots in the extreme Northern Tip (into VA) and the southern parts near Chatt but even so the entire East voted in 60-80% against the confederacy and even tried to secede from the confederacy when Nashville had its way.
Middle TN - where the klan started has the most groups. It's not surprising they were pro slavery and pro-confederacy. WE were not. Klanderbilt is by far the more appropriate name change.
If you must slam our great state - get it right.
