Too early for this thread.

I will post the above image with the words "Today, we are all Bama fans" on game day and get 5 to 1 down votes.

Nope, don't want your Week 1 support.

We all know that USCw was the real NC that year.

USC and Florida State are probably the schools that I dislike the most. Ohio State is closing in though. What's the chances of Ole Miss and Florida State tying 0-0? Not as good as Ole Miss forfeiting the season.

I hope USC hangs 50 on them. I don't want Bama to score a point all season.

I won't, never! Fact I hope USC swipes the floor with them and I hate USC!

Nothing wrong with that. But wanting an entire conference that your team is a part of to lose all the damn time is fricking stupid. Won't change my mind.

payback of him only having a half title in 2003

2003 LSU was the BCS National champion undisputed title holder. There was no half a title that year, the record for ever will read BCS Champion LSU.

Since the BCS championship game has started and now we have the 4 team playoff, every college participating recognizes the winner of the title game as the National Champion and any other poll is strictly a poll not the national champion.

No one pays attention to the AP sports writer polls and they were protest voting

You have to realize the BCS system was developed to take bias and the large media darlings out of the popularity title vote and award the title game to the team that really earned it through numerous checks and balances. Is the system perfect, but it is better than allowing sports writers to select our champion every year.

The NCAA disagrees with you.

And USC has the AP trophy. And 11 national titles.

USC was stripped of the 2004 BCS title and retained the 2004 AP title along with the 2003 AP title. Both titles were tainted with scandal and corruption. Below is a article to explain 2004 decision.

The argument could go on for decades but the reality is the BCS system was created to crown the national title and now we have a hybrid of this system with 4 teams and hopefully this will expand to 8 teams.

The B.C.S. said such a move was being contemplated when the university’s N.C.A.A. sanctions were announced last year, but the decision was delayed while Southern California appealed those sanctions. That appeal was denied by the N.C.A.A. two weeks ago.

It is the first time that a consensus major college football champion has been stripped of its title.

“The B.C.S. arrangement crowns a national champion, and the B.C.S. games are showcase events for postseason football,” the series’ executive director, Bill Hancock, said in a statement. “One of the best ways of ensuring that they remain so is for us to foster full compliance with N.C.A.A. rules.

“This action reflects the scope of the B.C.S. arrangement and is consistent with the N.C.A.A.’s approach when it subsequently discovers infractions by institutions whose teams have played in N.C.A.A. championship events.”

The Trojans’ undefeated 2004 season, which was capped by a 55-19 victory over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, has been wiped from the books. The B.C.S. said no champion would be recognized for that season. The Trojans are still recognized as The Associated Press’s national champion.
