It was lackluster. The new stadium has taken a lot away. Ok, I'm done.

the Coverage

Every game was broadcasted on national TV, what more did you expect?

I wasn't impressed with the Bama 1964 championship claim.

Yeah, AP & Coaches Poll national championships are really dubious.

The commentary is terrible. Biggest games of the year and half the time they're talking about minor league baseball in Alaska or something similar

I agree. Hasn't been the same since Rosenblatt.

The 41 claim is even less impressive

People on here say that Hoover Met is a dump and the SEC tournament needs to move to modern stadiums. Rosenblatt was a dump and was replaced by TD Ameritrade. I don't get the schizophrenia here.

Rosenblatt was the dump that everyone strived to reach every season, so there's that (you could argue that Wrigley Field and Fenway Park are dumps, too, in comparison to new parks).

Then, they built the new stadium facing into the wind the majority of CWS game times. This season was different, but most of the time it's like it was last night, 15-20 mph winds coming in from center.

Yeah - for both teams. Had wind not been blowing in, Deichman would have let the ball hit to right in the 1st inning go over his head; scoring 2 more. Would have been 3-0 instead of 1-0.

The only problem I had with the series is they have too many talking people in the booth. No need for 2 color guys trying to out-knowledge each other. Ben McDonald, and Burks (the Tennessee guy ??) and Perez talked way too much. I like Kyle Peterson and he adds about the right amount of input.I guess the best color guy (no pun intended) was Harold Reynolds back in the day. Apparently though, he had to be let go.

None of the announcers should ever be on TV again.
