cajunbama, I am never sure if you are trolling or just dumb & dumber. This one may answer the question.

Connor Shaw has said that when they visited there in 2012, it was so loud he had a hard time seeing because the clear shield in his helmet was vibrating....

Anyone who says Tigers Stadium is not intimidating has never been or is just trolling

This is true for the majority of cases, but sometimes it's because they didn't go to the right game. I've heard MSU, Southern miss, and A&M fans say that they didn't think it was that loud but that's because the crowd doesn't get nearly as hyped for those games. You have to go when bama, Florida, Auburn, or other high ranked opponents are in town to really see tiger stadium at its best

Glad you enjoyed your visit btw

Boy it's refreshing to have civilized talk with Bama fans every once and a while.

I've never had friends come in from other schools that didn't have a great time. Maybe in the 90s it was a much different crowd, but since I've been going to games I've always seen everyone getting along and having a great time.

There was "that" fat guy waving his shaker uncontrollably and just being obnoxious in the stadium, but he didn't even strike me as someone who went to Alabama, if you catch my drift

We always have a great time. I sat with a girl in the end zone, and I've been to tiger stadium several times for a bama game so I know what to expect. We walk to our seats and there's a collective, good natured, "awwwww shite" from everyone around us. I just said yea yea yea I know, Bammers in your section.

Everyone was cool though. I'm not the type to sit quietly on the road. I cheer the same as I would in BDS. When we first got there two girls in front of us made a "trashy bama fans behind us" comment right when we sat down. Midway through the first quarter they got into it with the middle aged LSU fan beside me because they wanted to stand up and he wanted them to sit down

So I ended up playing peacemaker between those 3. Gave him some Jameson and gave her a little gump charm and everyone settled down. It was a good time as always

And my experience has been the Bama girls get down on their knees in front of LSU boys (well, at least in front of me)

Glad you enjoyed the visit. Hopefully we have a competent offensive coach by next year and if we keep Aranda Bama will be in trouble.

It was my first time also. Beautiful campus. 99% of the LSU fans were very polite and friendly and hospitable. Took pictures of my wife and I for us. Very friendly. There were two twenty-something year old LSU fans sitting in the row in front of us and to our right who kept wanting to high-five us on every good play, no matter which team made it, Bama or LSU, and we happily obliged. Good sports. Guys behind us we could exchange some comments with...at halftime we talked about it looking like 2011 all over again. Many others wished us good luck on the way out and told us they hoped we win it all.

The 1% that was the exception was the dumbass who sat to my left. As soon as he came up the aisle and started to sit down, seeing us in Bama gear, he says "Awe frick". You could see the anger ooze from his pores. And we're not talking about some punk kid. This was a mid-forties guy and his wife...affluent enough to be able to have season to tickets. While he was at the concession stand, we had a nice chat with the wife...she was friendly and polite...we talked about how we were trying to get to each stadium in the conference. But this guy just spewed venom all night with every play Bama made.

He really was the exception, though. Everyone was terrific.

Section 413, Row 30, Seat 33. If you're here, pal, it was fun sitting by you. The misery you walked out with was just the icing on what was an awesome trip. I wish I could be there your next home game to hear you cuss out your season ticket neighbor for selling to a Bama fan.

Been there numerous times and always sit in their sections since my BIL is a grad. Never had any problems myself.

The one thing I did see in '92 was an LSU fan (grown man) punch a teenage special needs BAMA fan (not a joke) in the face about ten rows in front of me.

The fans in the area took care of the situation and the cops took the LSU fan away shortly thereafter.

Oddly, as I watched the game (in my den) I felt the same way. Damn or good play was my thought no matter the team.

Really glad to read your post and glad you had a great time.

LSU fans have gotten a bum rap for years. Sure we have some fans who are jerks and unfriendly, but what school doesn't?

I took 2 of my sons to the 2011 game in Tuscaloosa and we had the time of our lives, although the ahole Bama fan sitting next to one of my boys was such a jerk i finally had to get a stadium cop to intervene. And when the honey badger committed a personal foul on a punt, the Bama woman across the isle threw every cuss word in the book at us. Other than those two idiots, all other Bama fans were great.
